Daniel L. Wiles, Principal and Chief Compliance Officer of Fieldman, Rolapp & Associates, joined the firm in August 2002 after 12 years as a financial advisor with national and regional firms and 8 years as a bond and underwriters counsel. He focuses in the area of public financings for city and county governments, transportation agencies and higher education institutions. Wiles has been involved with assisting a variety of public agencies throughout the western United States with capital facilities funding plans employing financing structures such as Revenue Bonds, Lease Revenue Bonds, General Obligation Bonds, Certificates of Participation, Community Facilities District Tax Bonds, as well as US Department of Transportation TIFIA Loan funding.
Wiles is an author and speaker for organizations and events such as the California Society of Municipal Finance Officers (CSMFO), the California Self-Help Counties Coalition, and The Bond Buyer California Public Finance Conference. He holds attorney licenses in Minnesota and Colorado.
Wiles received his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and his Bachelor of Science in economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota.
