Paul D. Pender
Mr. Paul D. Pender, CIPMA, Vice President, joined the firm in January 2005. Since joining the firm, Mr. Pender has completed over forty financing engagements. These have included a variety of structures, including lease-revenue bonds, variable-rate auction securities, interest rate swap agreements, general obligation bonds, and special district financings.
Mr. Pender provides clients with a wide range of financial advisory services, including: long-term capital improvement finance plans, refinancing of existing debt analyses, special district formation, debt transaction management, and debt policy analysis.
Mr. Pender has recently completed engagements for a variety of municipal clients, including the City of Long Beach, the City of Moreno Valley, the J. Paul Getty Trust, Vallecitos Water District, the City of Irvine, the Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles, and Olivenhain Municipal Water District.
Mr. Pender has a Masters of Public Policy degree from the University of Southern California, where he was Dean’s Merit Fellowship recipient, and a Bachelor’s degree in History from Grinnell College (Iowa).
